A month after participating in the King's official birthday celebrations at Trooping the Color and amidst her battle with cancer, Kate, Britain's Princess of Wales, received a standing ovation at the Wimbledon tennis championships. The Princess arrived on Sunday for the Wimbledon men's final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.

Accompanied by her daughter Princess Charlotte, 9, Kate wore a bright purple dress by Safiyaa and appeared in great spirits as she chatted and joked with her daughter, who wore a blue polka dot dress with a matching blue bow. They were joined by Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton.

Kate's husband, Prince William, did not attend because he was expected to cheer on England's national team in the Euro finals with their 10-year-old son, Prince George.

Princess Kate, a known sports fan, makes an annual appearance at the Wimbledon tournament. Earlier this week, she dedicated a post to Andy Murray's illustrious career, following his withdrawal from the tournament. "An amazing Wimbledon career is coming to an end. You should be so proud," she wrote, adding, "Thank you, on behalf of all of us."
