Flam Winery’s White Label 2021, a bold blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, has earned a coveted spot on Wine Spectator’s prestigious Top 100 Wines of 2024.
The influential culinary magazine evaluated over 10,000 wines this year, selecting only the most intriguing and exceptional for its annual list. Flam’s entry scored an impressive 92, placing it alongside some of the finest wines in the world.
The grapes for Flam’s White Label are sourced predominantly from the Judean Hills, with a portion hailing from the Galilee, reflecting the terroir’s rich heritage. The wine, celebrated for its power and sophistication, also carries a minimalist aesthetic—its stark white label a nod to simplicity and trust. "We’re saying, ‘Trust us,’" the winery explains, likening it to The Beatles’ White Album: a clean slate offering a profound sensory journey.
Wine Spectator’s rigorous selection process ensures only the best make the cut. Each year, their critics taste over 10,000 wines, scoring those above 90 for eligibility.
In December, the 100 most intriguing wines are chosen, highlighting those deserving special attention. Flam’s inclusion is a testament to Israel’s growing presence in the global winemaking scene, showcasing the artistry and quality behind its wines.
