ISIS TEEN BUSTED

Israeli security forces arrested a 17-year-old boy earlier this month for allegedly planning a terror attack on behalf of ISIS. Authorities say he had repeatedly pledged loyalty to the terror group and was preparing an attack in Israel’s north. When he was arrested, police found written bomb-making instructions in his possession. He’s now being held by the Haifa court system as formal charges proceed.

HOSTAGE FAMILIES PRAY AND PLEAD

Dozens of hostage families rallied in Jerusalem yesterday outside the home of Ron Dermer, Israel’s top hostage negotiator. They gathered to pray for the new Jewish month—and to demand action.

Ilay David, whose brother Evyatar is still being held in Gaza, told Dermer: “You’re the main guy. Don’t pick who comes home first—bring them all back.” Emotions ran high as signs lined the nearby fences with names like Alon Ohel and Omri Miran.

One grieving father, Tzvi Zussman, whose son Ben died in battle, pleaded, “My kid’s gone, but you can still save theirs.”

Jon Polin, whose son Hersh was killed by Hamas, slammed politicians who still wear yellow hostage pins: “Stop pretending to care if you’re not actually doing the work.”

NETANYAHU HEADS TO HUNGARY

Prime Minister Netanyahu is heading to Hungary this Wednesday for talks with Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The two leaders have maintained close ties, and Bibi is expected to remain there through the weekend.

The timing is controversial—Netanyahu is also asking to skip one of his own court appearances this week, citing a “critical security meeting.”

Meanwhile, Israeli outlet N12 reports that the military is preparing strike options for Iran, with a possible launch date sometime in mid-2025.

HAMAS KILLS PROTESTER IN GAZA

Tensions inside Gaza have taken a bloody turn. A 22-year-old man, believed to be a leader in the growing protests against Hamas, was found beaten to death—his body dumped outside his home.

His funeral turned into an anti-Hamas demonstration, with mourners chanting, “Hamas, get out!” The killing marks a brutal escalation—up until now, Hamas had mostly relied on threats to silence protestors. This is the first confirmed case of a protest leader being murdered.

Observers suggest the murder may have been staged to reassert dominance amid speculation that Hamas itself orchestrated the protests for PR purposes.

In parallel, Hamas has offered Israel a deal: 5 hostages in exchange for a ceasefire. Israel’s answer? No deal unless 10 are returned.

QUICK WORLD UPDATE

Around the world, things aren’t any calmer. U.S. President Trump is once again talking about “taking Greenland” from Denmark—this time suggesting military action. Denmark was not amused, issuing a firm response.

Meanwhile, Trump says Yemen’s Houthis are “begging for peace” after American airstrikes hit hard. He bragged, “They’re getting the hell knocked out of them.”

Despite that, the Houthis launched yet another missile at Israel last night. It missed. One woman, trying to take cover, fell into a ditch. The Houthis declared it a “success.” Sure.

And then there’s Iran. The regime is threatening to strike the U.S. and UK’s Diego Garcia base in the Indian Ocean if Trump attacks. But here’s the thing: Iran’s longest-range missiles can only fly about 1,650 km. Diego Garcia? Over 3,600 km away. Unless they smuggle a submarine across the ocean, they’re not touching it. And the U.S. would likely spot that miles away.

IN SHORT:

As the headlines churn, 59 hostages still remain in Gaza. Prime Minister Netanyahu insists, “Only pressure—military and political—is what brought the hostages home.” Translation: don’t expect the Gaza campaign to end anytime soon.

But in a bit of long-overdue justice—Israeli officials say the UAE is preparing to execute the three men responsible for the brutal murder of Rabbi Zvi Kogan.
