UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres met with released hostages Nili Margalit and Moran Stella Yanay, who came to the World Economic Forum conference in Davos with a delegation of hostages' families. 

The Israeli UN Embassy will screen the "film of horrors" depicting the Simchat Torah Massacre at the UN to over 300 diplomats and Jewish leaders.

The UN will convene to discuss Jordan's proposal to introduce full humanitarian aid into Gaza. Jordan also criticized the decision to evacuate residents to the south of the Strip.

Accompanied by families of captives, Foreign Minster Eli Cohen headed to the UN to raise international awareness of the state of captives in Gaza.

Energy and Infrastructure Minister Yisrael Katz addressed requests for humanitarian aid to Gaza: "Not one fuel truck will enter until the Israeli captives are returned home and no-one should preach morality to us."

Israel's UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan sharply attacked the organization's Human Rights Council on FOX: "Once they pressure Israel, they're incentivizing the terrorists to continue, because that's their goal to delegitimize Israel."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the UN General Assembly in New York next week. This will be Zelenskyy's first meeting with an Israeli Prime Minister since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine
