The IDF reports that based on new and updated assessments, Israel was invaded by at least 3000 terrorists on October 7, not 1500.

This number is according to new assessments of the IDF based on the number of terrorists eliminated in battles with IDF forces in perimeter settlements, the number of terrorists captured by Israeli forces, and bodies still in the field which have not yet been collected and fully identified.

Thus, the IDF’s official assessment is that at 6:30 in the morning of October 7, Israel was invaded and attacked by no fewer than 3000 terrorists in the first waves, without accounting for the Gazan mob not directly under Hamas command which also engaged in murder, pillage, and other actions along with the terrorists.
