Bloomberg's list of the 500 richest billionaires includes five Israelis with Idan Ofer topping the list of Israeli billionaires.
Among the impressive data is the fact that the 100 richest people in the world increased their wealth by $641 billion in the past year.
At the top of the list is Elon Musk with a fortune of $348 billion, followed by Jeff Bezos, Larry Ellison and Mark Zuckerberg.
Idan Ofer leads the Israeli top five on the list, ranked 61st with a fortune of $29.3 billion - an increase of $9.2 billion in the past year. His capital is based mainly on his holdings in the Israel Corporation (47.68%) and his control of ICL Group (43.95%), which is traded on the Tel Aviv and New York Stock Exchanges at a value of NIS 21.8 billion.
Shari Arison is ranked 332nd with an estimated fortune of $8.6 billion, which has increased by about $1.01 billion in the past year.
Brothers Igor and Dmitry Buchman, founders of Flyrix and founders of the investment fund Rix Capital, are ranked 495th and 496th, with a fortune of $6.32 billion each, an increase of $2.77 billion over the past year.
The list also includes two Israeli citizens: Miriam Adelson, who is defined as American, in 45th place with a fortune of $36.8 billion, and Roman Abramovich, the Russian-Israeli oligarch, in 370th place with a fortune of $7.8 billion.
In 279th place is Stef Wertheimer with a fortune of $9.9 billion, after adding $1.53 billion in the past year.
