A female IDF soldier was seriously injured today (Tuesday) when a UAV launched from Lebanon hit in the north. A non-commissioned officer (NCO) was seriously injured in the central Gaza Strip.
An NCO in Battalion 8163, the Combat Engineering Corps, was seriously wounded today in a battle in the central Gaza Strip.
Both soldiers were evacuated to medical centers for treatment, and their families were informed.
Meanwhile, after almost 14 months, Yona Bezalel Brief, an IDF soldier who was critically wounded on October 7, was pronounced dead today at Tel Hashomer Hospital. Brief studied at the Ma'ale Ephraim Yeshiva of the Bnei David institutions that announced his passing: "We are pained by the fall of the hero Yona Bezalel in the Reef, a graduate of the fifth cohort of the Ma'ale Ephraim preparatory school, who passed away tonight after a year of struggle for his life."
