What does a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah mean for Hamas?

Ceasefire agreement in the North: Hamas under immense pressure

The Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire could lead to a breakthrough in negotiations for the hostage deal with control over the Philadelphi route, as Hamas's ability to coordinate activities with Hezbollah has been disrupted, leading to immense pressure within the organization.

Security officials did not rule out the possibility that a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah, which obliges the Lebanese terrorist organization, could lead to a breakthrough in negotiations with Hamas for the release of the captives, as reported this morning on Walla.

Despite the deal being made in the North war with Lebanon, all fronts are connected and the complex web of the terror organizations working together against Israel may be damaged by a ceasefire.

According to reports, such an agreement might include maintaining Israeli control over the Philadelphi Corridor.

Additionally, a senior security official said on Sunday to Walla that the military pressure exerted on Hamas and its allies has brought the possibility of reaching an agreement for the return of the hostages closer than ever. Security officials believe that Hamas's ability to coordinate its activities with Hezbollah has been disrupted, placing the terrorist organization under immense pressure.

At the beginning of the month, "Israel Hayom" reported that Israeli officials believe that 51 out of the 101 hostages remaining in Gaza are still alive.
