Goodness, That Tunnel Is Long

Gotcha! IDF shows graphic of Syria-Lebanon smuggling tunnel

The IDF just released footage showing a 3.5 kilometer wide smuggling tunnel between Syria and Lebanon, meant to help resupply and rearm Hezbollah.

The IDF released a video a short time ago today (Monday), graphically showing the extent of efforts to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah from Iran via Syria.

The video shows a 3.5 kilometer long tunnel, big enough for trucks, which crosses from Syria into Lebanon and helps resupply the terrorist organization with needed weapons and equipment.

The IDF said that it attacked and destroyed this tunnel in a strike on October 3. In all versions of a ceasefire, the IDF seeks to have a free hand in intercepting such rearmament and resupply efforts, with the hope of keeping Hezbollah in a weakened state.
