Hours before potential ceasefire deal, Hezbollah strikes Israel
Women in her 70s seriously injured in rocket barrage on Nahariya amid ceasefire reports
Ten rockets have been fired from Lebanon this evening with one strike reported in Nahariya, leaving a woman in Her 70s seriously injured. Despite a ceasefire deal entering its final stages, Hezbollah continue to attack Israel late into the night with multiple rockets fired at the North.

Magen David Adom reported that a woman in her 70s was seriously injured Monday evening in a rocket barrage on Nahariya and the surrounding area. The attack, which took place shortly before midnight, involved ten rockets launched from Lebanon. The woman sustained shrapnel wounds to her head. A man in his 80s, who was also injured in a residential building hit directly by a rocket, suffered a light shrapnel wound to his ear. Both were treated at the scene and evacuated to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
In addition, several people were treated for anxiety. Prior to the attack, sirens were heard in the area. The IDF confirmed that approximately ten rockets were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory, with some intercepted and others falling in the region.
The attack occurred shortly after the Home Front Command announced modifications to its defensive guidelines, downgrading activity in certain areas from Partial Activity to Limited Activity. This includes the Confrontation Line, Northern Golan, and Southern Golan areas like Qatsrin and Kidmat Tsvi.
Earlier that evening, the Israeli Air Force conducted strikes on smuggling routes along the Syria-Lebanon border used by Hezbollah to transfer weapons. The IDF emphasized that the ongoing strikes aim to disrupt Hezbollah's weapons smuggling operations, which threaten both Israeli civilians and IDF forces. Additionally, the IDF targeted two Hezbollah Executive Council command centers.
