In another sign of deteriorating relations between Israel and France, France has now banned the presence of Israeli companies at the Euronaval expo in Paris, one of the largest such events for naval weapons in the world, according to Kann News reporter Amichai Stein.

France had previously tried to ban Israeli companies from the Eurosatory, an equally important defense expo, several months earlier, though the decision was overturned by French courts.

In addition to calling for a general arms embargo against Israel, France is set to host a major conference on Lebanon which will include the participation of some of Israel's bitterest foes such as South Africa and Algeria.

A testy exchange today (Tuesday) between President Macron and Prime Minister Netanyahu on the proper objectives of the war and the authority of UN resolutions on the matter has only further inflamed tensions.
