The first reaction to the International Criminal Court's issuing of arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant came from US Democrat Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, who lashed out at the decision.
Fetterman issued a short, sharp and sharp response on the X platform to the court's decision: "No standing, relevance or path. F*** that", followed by an Israeli flag.
The Prime Minister's Office issued an official response today (Thursday) stated that "the anti-Semitic decision of the International Criminal Court is equivalent to the modern Dreyfus Trial – and it will end like it."
It went on to say that "Israel rejects with disgust the absurd and false actions and charges against it by the International Criminal Court, which is a biased and discriminatory political body."
The statement said that there is nothing more just than the war that Israel has been waging in Gaza since October 7, 2023, after the Hamas terrorist organization launched a murderous attack against it, and carried out the largest massacre committed against the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
"The decision was made by a corrupt chief prosecutor who is trying to save his skin from the serious allegations of sexual harassment against him, and biased judges motivated by anti-Semitic hatred for Israel," the bureau added.
The statement revealed that the prosecutor told US senators that he would not act against Israel until he came to Israel and heard its side, thereby lying and deceiving them. He abruptly canceled his visit to Israel last May, a few days after suspicions of sexual harassment were raised against him, and announced his intention to issue arrest warrants against the prime minister and defense minister.
