Released for publication: Brian Director is the victim of the rocket attack in Nahariya

It has been released for publication that the deceased is Brian Director, a 27-year-old from Ma'alot Tarshiha, who was killed by the rocket strike in a playground in Nahariya earlier today.

It has been cleared for publication: Brian Director, 27, from Ma'alot Tarshiha, is the victim of the rocket that directly hit a playground in Nahariya earlier today.

This morning, red color alarms were sounded in Nahariya following a heavy barrage from Lebanon in which 25 rockets were fired, 10 of which crossed into Israel. In the heavy barrage, a director was killed after being hit by shrapnel.

From MDA it was reported: "At one of the scenes in a playground, MDA paramedics reported a man in his 30s unconscious with shrapnel wounds to his body. After medical examinations, they were forced to pronounce him dead. In additional locations in Nahariya, MDA medics and paramedics treated a 40-year-old woman in light condition who was injured from the blast, a 44-year-old woman in light condition who was injured from the blast and glass shards, and 6 people suffering from anxiety."

The IDF spokesperson stated: "Following alerts activated in the western Galilee area between 11:46-11:47, about ten launches were identified crossing from Lebanese territory, most of which were intercepted, and impacts were identified."
