Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu released a video statement tonight (Saturday) attacking French President Emanuel Macron and others for calling for an embargo of arms to Israel used in Gaza.

In his statement, Netanyahu reiterated that Israel was fighting a dangerous enemy on several fronts, Iran and its multiple proxies throughout the Middle East, which was not in the least subject to the sort of arms embargo France and others wish to impose on Israel.

Netanyahu called this embargo campaign a "disgrace" and said that "Israel will win with or without their support. But their shame will continue long after the war is won. For in defending ourselves against this barbarism, Israel is defending civilization against those who seek to impose a dark age of fanaticism on all of us. Rest assured, Israel will fight until the battle is won - for our sake and for the sake of peace and security in the world.”
