The IDF in an update this morning (Tuesday) stated that an Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft attacked and killed last night Muhammad Mahasana who served as a Hamas smuggling operations officer in the maritime area and at the border crossings.
As part of his duties, he worked to smuggle and bring in military equipment that was used by Hamas for terrorist purposes. Mahasana was mainly involved in smuggling in the maritime area, but he was also involved in smuggling in tunnels and border crossings: "His elimination constitutes a serious setback in the smuggling ability of Hamas into the territory of the Gaza Strip," the IDF claimed.
