A spokesperson for Chabad said that the coffin of Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, the shaliach in the UAE who was found murdered over the weekend, will be brought to Israel tomorrow (Monday) and his funeral held the next day.
Rabbi Kogan was reported having gone missing last Thursday, when the UAE authorities said they began an investigation, and Israeli security forces also began to collect information.
His murdered body was found later over the weekend, and the UAE say they have three suspects in custody. Though Israeli sources say they believe Iran was behind the kidnapping and murder, the Iranian embassy in the UAE "categorically denies the charge."
The UAE meantime would not divulge any more information on the case until the end of its investigations.
