UTJ MK Yitzhak Pindrus surprised everyone today (Thursday) during a Reichman University panel when he said that there is a way to draft young Haredim.

According to Pindrus, "if the IDF establishes battalions and brigades where it's clear that whoever goes in Haredi comes out Haredi, then it will succeed."

According to him, "if they told the parents here who are shouting that if their son goes to the army, there's a 50% chance they become Haredi - I imagine some would reconsider."

"I say this in the simplest way possible: the Haredim will not give up on the principle of 'His Torah is his craft' in any situation."
