Defense Ministry purchases upgrades for IDF armored vehicles from local IMCO group

The purchase, which will provide IDF tanks and APVs with complex electronic systems, will cost 376 million NIS.

The Defense Ministry announced today (Sunday) that it was acquiring advanced electronics systems for the IDF's tanks and armored vehicles from the Israeli IMCO defense industry group. The price tag for this "blue and white" acquisition is 376 million NIS.

According to the statement, the systems in question include sophisticated video management systems as well as those handling tension and other functions of army vehicles.

The systems will be embedded into IDF vehicles over a period of four years.
