The IDF Spokesperson published footage today (Saturday) showing the cooperation between air and ground forces in eliminating terrorists in Gaza. The footage shows the aircraft identifying the source of the fire aimed at IDF soldiers and then eliminating the terrorists on location:
The cooperation is carried out between the Air Force’s Squadron 100 and the IDF Intelligence’s aerial recon unit belonging to Array 9900, which operates the Tzofit and Hofit aircraft. The aicraft’s crew is comprised of pilots and scouts from the air allowing for visual intelligence collection and realtime photography for many different missions, including aerial accompaniment of the ground forces, providing accurate warnings about threats against maneuvering forces, intelligence gathering, and deciphering of the battlefield.
