Great news for Lakewood!

Apple Bank plants new roots in Lakewood

This marks Apple Bank's latest move in building out its Jersey presence, adding to its network that spans from Manhattan to Long Island and now deeper into the Garden State.

Looking for a new bank in Lakewood? Apple Bank is coming to town, announcing plans to open its doors at 140 East Kennedy Boulevard in early 2025.

The new spot will be Apple's third New Jersey branch, joining locations in Englewood and Iselin. It's part of the bank's bigger network of 80 branches scattered across New York City and its surrounding areas.

"Lakewood just makes sense for us," says Jim Matera, who heads up retail banking at Apple. "A lot of folks here work in the city and already bank with us - now they'll have something closer to home."

To lead the charge, they've brought in John Crisafulli as their new business relationship manager. He's no stranger to Lakewood, having spent the last decade working in the area. Crisafulli comes over from First Commerce Bank, where he was vice president, bringing 25 years of local banking experience with him.

"I'm excited to help bring Apple Bank to Lakewood," says Crisafulli. "We're not just opening a branch - we're becoming part of the community. And trust me, we know the difference between big bank services and that personal touch people actually want."
