Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has informed the organizers of the state ceremony in memory of the late former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, that he will not attend the ceremony.

According to a report by Yaron Avraham on News 12, officials at the bureau clarified this to the organizers and noted that there is no need for them to reserve a place for him in the line of honorees at the memorial that will be held on the Hebrew date of the murder, next week.

The one who was quick to respond to this report was Labor Party Chairman Merav Michaeli who stung Netanyahu and said: "For a change, a good decision by Netanyahu." There is no reason for the man who incited against Rabin to attend the memorial service for Rabin's murder. The ceremony will be more dignified and stately without him."
