Jewish settlement in Galilee in peril: Evacuation orders threaten Ramat Arbel

Residents fear demolition will pave the way for Arab dominance in the Galilee.

There is great concern in the Jewish settlement of Ramat Arbel in the Galilee, after the local residents received demolition orders this week from the Land Enforcement Authority, which is under the Ministry of National Security.

The residents said that the evacuation of the site is a great danger to the Jewish community in the Galilee because of the Arab takeover of the entire area.

Yesterday, hundreds of activists arrived at the site after receiving information that the evacuation was supposed to take place as early as last night. As a result, the residents estimate that the evacuation has been postponed, but it could also be tonight, and they call on those who believe in the importance of settlement in the Galilee to come tonight as well.
