Thomas Matthew Crooks was spotted by police at least twice, just 26 minutes before he opened fire at the Pennsylvania rally, injuring Trump and two others and fatally shooting an ex-fire chief, according to WPXI sources.
The Beaver County Emergency Services Unit, visiting from a nearby Pittsburgh suburb, saw Crooks on the roof around 5:45 p.m., took a photo, and reported it. Shockingly, despite his conspicuous position, Crooks managed to evade confrontation and positioned himself directly under the noses of a police sniper team inside the building, law enforcement sources told The Post.
A multi-angle video compilation from MilkBarTV, viewed over 3.5 million times, captures the attempted assassination unfolding in real-time from multiple angles. During the tense event, more than 120 seconds passed from the first sighting of Crooks on the roof by rally attendees to the moment he fired his rifle. Disturbingly, witnesses attempted repeatedly to alert nearby law enforcement.
