A significant signal of progress in the ceasefire negotiations in the north, President Biden's envoy, Amos Hochstein, will arrive in Israel on Wednesday.

In the meantime, the IDF has reduced the number of strikes in Lebanon, and launches from Lebanon towards Israel have decreased dramatically.

In Lebanon, it is reported that Hezbollah submitted its response last night (Sunday) along with several amendments to the ceasefire proposal. According to the report on the Lebanese LBCI network, it was stated that the response is positive.

Now, they are waiting for the arrival of Amos Hochstein, President Biden's envoy, for the finalization of the agreement.

Last weekend, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei sent a message to the terrorist organization Hezbollah, stating that there should be progress towards an arrangement and a ceasefire based on UN Resolution 1701 and withdrawal beyond the Litani River. As reported by the New York Times.
