The Commander of the Air Force, Major General Tomer Bar, visited today (Sunday) the Jabalia area in the Gaza Strip and conducted a field tour with the Commander of Division 162, Brigadier General Itzik Cohen, the Commander of the Givati Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Liron Batito, and other commanders.
The commanders briefed the general on the situation, the operational achievements in the area, and the plans for the future, with an emphasis on the cooperation between air and ground forces.

The commander of Division 162, Brigadier General Itzik Cohen, referred to the cooperation with the Air Force: "For over a year, we have been fighting throughout Gaza, with Air Force personnel constantly with us. Together, we have learned to close loops effectively, strike the enemy with force, and conquer every area we reach. Even here in Jabalia, we are deploying significant air fire, and this is an important component of our battle in the area."
