Mohammad Afif’s family says this is why he was eliminated

Hours after Hezbollah’s prominent spokesman is killed, his family claims Israeli spies played a key role, deepening the conflict narrative.

The family of terrorist Mohammed Afif, a senior Hezbollah operative killed yesterday in a powerful IDF strike in Beirut, accuses spies of being responsible for his death, as reported by Kan Reshet B.

According to the report, his family member said that "the spies, the traitors, are the ones who presented his head on a silver platter to Israel." She said she did not think they were spies from within Hezbollah.

Afif was one of the most prominent figures in the terrorist organization in recent times, after Nasrallah's assassination. He served as the organization's spokesman and was the face of Hezbollah.

Last night, after Hezbollah's announcement, the IDF officially announced Afif's assassination. The IDF reported Afif's deep involvement in Lebanese terrorism and attributed to him horrific attacks against Israel during the Iron Sword War and Operation Northern Arrows.
