Unusual attack in northern Lebanon: At least 10 killed, searches continue 

Lebanese media reported that IDF forces carried out a targeted attack; Al-Hadath TV reported that the target of the attack was the home of Hussein Hashem, a former official of the Syrian National Party.

Lebanese media reported Monday night (between Monday and Tuesday) that our forces had carried out a targeted attack on a residential building in the village of Ein Ya'qub in the Akar region of northern Lebanon.

The Lebanese network Al-Mayadeen, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, reported that there were 11 dead. On the other hand, Qatar's Al-Jazeera TV reported that 20 people were killed and 10 wounded as a result of the attack.

It is also said to have targeted the home of the Hashem family. Qatar's Al-Hadath TV reported that the house targeted was the home of "Hussein Hashem," a former official of the Syrian National Party.

According to reports, there are a large number of casualties and searches among the rubble are ongoing. It was also noted in the Arab media that so far the airstrikes in the area were directed on the outskirts of Akar, and now it is an attack deep in the area in northern Lebanon.
