An Israeli source told Sky News Arabia today (Monday) that the recent strike in the Dahiyeh targeted a military official within Hezbollah.

The official in question appears to possibly be a member of Hezbollah's general staff and involved in technical matters.

Meanwhile, forces of the 91st Hagalil Division, which includes the soldiers of the Alexandroni, Hazaken, and Northern Nachal Brigades, began a focused and targeted operation in southern Lebanon last night (Monday).

After fighting for over a year in the north and in the Gaza Strip, reservists were called up again and retrained over the past two weeks.

Since the beginning of the war, the Hagalil Division has conducted a defensive fight against Hezbollah combined with air and ground based attacks in southern Lebanon.

In the past few weeks, the Division conducted hundreds of attacks and eliminated dozens of terrorists. At the same time, 769th Brigade continues its defensive missions.
