After a 40-minute chase, a drone launched from Lebanon fell in Eliakim. Two Israeli soldiers were moderately injured earlier today when a Hezbollah drone targeted an open area within a military outpost near the town of Eliakim in northern Israel. The soldiers were subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Another chase: Continuous sirens were heard this evening (Thursday) in the northern settlements, including Nahariya, Akko, Haifa, and the Krayot, following a suspicion of an enemy aircraft infiltrating Israeli airspace. The IDF said that the target is being monitored, and for over half an hour, there were reports of unsuccessful interception attempts.

The first sirens were heard at 18:40 in the frontline communities, and later reached the Upper and Western Galilee communities. About a quarter of an hour after the event began, sirens were heard in the Krayot, Haifa, and other settlements in the Carmel area. Around 7:00 PM, sirens also began to be heard in the settlements of the Wadi Ara and Jezreel Valley areas, including Yokneam and Kiryat Tivon. After about half an hour of pursuit, alarms were also activated in Zichron Yaakov, Amikam, and Caesarea.

The IDF spokesperson stated, "Alerts were activated shortly ago in the Gulf area, the Western Galilee, and the Upper Galilee following the identification of a suspicious aerial target crossing from Lebanon. The target is under surveillance and the event is still ongoing. It is necessary to continue following the updated instructions from the Home Front Command."

At 19:20, after about 40 minutes of pursuit, the UAV was reported down in Eliakim – and shortly thereafter, the Home Front Command updated that the event had concluded.
