Hossein Salamis' newest threat to Israel

The Iranians are threatening again: "We will strike hard in Israel"

Despite reports from sources close to the Iranian regime about freezing attack plans in Israel following Donald Trump's victory. The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard returned to threaten Israel with a harsh attack.

The commander of the Revolutionary Guards delivered a particularly aggressive speech against Israel, which could signal tension between the military-revolutionary leadership in Iran, who are seeking aggressiveness, and the political leadership, who wish for calm.

The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, General Hossein Salami, spoke at the opening of a military exercise in Iran named "Nasrallah" in honor of the slain head of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, and despite reports of a cooling in Iranian aggressiveness due to Trump's election, he threatened a severe attack on Israel.

Salami referred in his remarks to the elimination of almost the entire senior leadership of the Hezbollah terrorist organization and said: "The Zionists thought they would kill the leaders of Hezbollah and thus Hezbollah would disappear – this is a mistake."

He continued and threatened Israel with a severe attack: "We set the Zionists as a target in our sights, we will fight them until the last moment and we will not allow them to control the fate of Muslims. We will take revenge and strike them a heavy blow."

Last night, it was reported that there was a certain cooling in the corridors of the Iranian regime regarding the plans for an attack on Israeli territory, in response to the airstrike in Iran. But now it seems that these reports were premature, or there is a disagreement in the corridors of power on which approach to take after Trump's election.
