Al-Arabiya Network reports that IDF forces have penetrated about a half a kilometer into Lebanese territory today (Tuesday). Hezbollah's public relations officer denied the claims about the ground incursion and called them false.

The forces, which consist mainly of the 98th Division, are carrying out ground maneuvers in southern Lebanon and are operating in several areas simultaneously, in order to act against the offensive infrastructure of Hezbollah, which planned to launch raids on northern settlements.

Channel 14 correspondent Hillel Biton Rosen revealed today that IDF forces have operated throughout the past year in Lebanese territory – destroying a large number of attack tunnels in Lebanese territory, through which the Hezbollah terrorist organization planned to penetrate into Israeli territory and even invade the Galilee. Some of the extermination activity was carried out on the ground and partly from the air.
