The IDF Spokesperson said that the army has struck 300 targets so far today alone (Monday), with more strikes expected throughout the day.

Meantime, the Defense Minister has stated that the Israeli public needs to prepare for days of hard fighting ahead and pay close attention to the instructions of rear command in case of increased danger to civilian areas.

A few hours ago, the IDF Spokesperson issued the first warning of its kind since the war to the residents of Lebanon, warning all residents living near Hezbollah weapons stores to clear out, as the IDF intends to strike them from the air.

In his statement, he said "in the last few hours, we have identified Hezbollah preparations to attack the citizens of the State of Israel ... In a short time, the IDF will attack terror targets throughout Lebanon to remove the threats."

He then addressed the residents of Lebanon: "To all the residents of villages in Lebanon, the IDF will shortly attack terror targets in Lebanon. We call on all those who are near assets or within homes, where Hezbollah hides weapons, to immediately get away from them.

"This is for your own safety and protection. Hezbollah endangers you and your families. Hezbollah intends to launch these weapons towards the territory of the State of Israel, remove yourselves from them immediately for your defense!"

He then ended by saying that "the IDF is acting and will continue to act to protect the citizens of the State of Israel, wherever they are required."
