While the IDF eliminates senior Hezbollah leaders and continues to degrade Hezbollah's military capabilities from the air, it is also preparing for a possible ground incursion.

The 98th Division has already moved north from Gaza to attach itself to Northern Command, and now the 7th Armored Brigade is reportedly also moving north, according to Army Radio reporter Doron Kadosh.

Elad Tzuri, commander of 7th Brigade, even issued a proclamation to his troops to encourage them in the battle ahead:

"In all Israel's wars, the brigade gave the crushing punch, in all the generations our people won the war, in this time too, 7th Brigade is the first to lead and win.

"We were the first to enter the Gaza Strip, and now we are once again on the front lines, the first to lead the IDF on the northern front, too.

...

"We are preparing to fight for the return of the residents to their homes and the farmers to their fields - we will return the quiet and security to the north."

I think everyone knows that Israel will have to launch a ground invasion if it wants to get rid of Hezbollah.

Here's hoping they learned the right lessons from fighting in Gaza, especially about dodging anti-tank missiles.
