"The Air Force is ready on the defensive and offensive."

During the night and morning hours (Saturday/Sunday), some 150 rockets, cruise missiles and drones were launched towards the State of Israel, most of them towards the north of the country.

The IDF aerial defense in all its layers prevented a significant hit to the rear with high rates of interception, aside from a few cases of direct hits and interception fragments in the rear.

There were some light casualties from the rocket barrage despite the IDF's efforts.

The victims include a man in his 70s in moderate condition, and another man in his 70s and a 16-year-old girl who are lightly hurt. They are being taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

MDA also responded to a 60-year-old man lightly injured by debris from an interception near the Lower Galilee. Victims have been transported to hospitals in Afula and Nazareth.
