IDF Chief of Staff meets with CENTCOM Commander to prepare for Iranian retaliation

The meeting is part of Israel's efforts to work together with allies and partner countries to ward off Iran's threatened reprisal for the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.

IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi conducted a situational assessment with CENTCOM Commander Michael Kurilla today (Monday) with the aim of discussing shared strategic challenges and threats.

The meeting is part of a series of efforts by Israel and the United States to properly prepare for an expected Iranian retaliation for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh last week in Iran.
