Three anti-tank missiles were fired from Lebanon towards the town of Avivim, with one of hitting a winery and causing heavy damage to the building this morning (Tuesday). Firefighters are working on the scene to extinguish the blaze. Rockets were fired at the city of Meron. No injuries or property damage were reported in the incident.

The IDF spokesman informed that launches were detected from Lebanese territory towards the area of Meron.

"Once again a morning of rockets from Lebanon to Israel, once again residents here without protection and once again a great miracle that such an event ends without injuries or, God forbid, deaths," said head of the Upper Galilee Regional Council, Amit Sofer, following the rocket fire. "We continue to demand that the State of Israel provides us adequate protection. It takes some residents more than 10 minutes to reach the public shelter while missiles land without prior warning or a few seconds' warning. There are solutions to this crisis that need to be implemented immediately."
