Some 200 protestors marched on Erez Crossing in memory of Harel Sharvit, a soldier who fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip a month and a half ago. For the first time since the Disengagement from Gaza, ten protestors managed to cross the border fence and reach the ruins of the settlement of Nisanit.

The IDF forcibly removed them from the site, and one of the protestors was arrested. At the same time, the remaining protestors are forming temporary structures and plan to spend the night on the border calling for Gaza’s resettlement.
