War continues in the north. IDF fighter planes struck a Hezbollah operations command post and observation post in the Khiam area. Fighter planes also struck an observation post and military structure belonging to the organization in the areas of Ayta ash Shab and Mhaibib.

Earlier today (Tuesday), a launch aimed from Lebanon into Israel which fell close to Arab al-Aramshe. No casualties were reported.

At a situational assessment he conducted for the past few hours, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that “the possibility of reaching a political settlement is exhausting itself. The stage will come when our patience and our ability to bear this matter will expire, and as a result we may reach an aggressive action whose consequence at the end of which can also reach the district of Haifa, and we need to take this into account.”

“One thing I can tell you,” Gallant added. “If fire is used against the State of Israel from Lebanon, the situation in Haifa will not be a good situation, but the situation in Beirut will be destructive, nothing less – destructive. What you saw in Gaza can be copied in Lebanon, and the Air Force is devoting a small part of its power for Gaza, it is maintaining a large part of its force in readiness to deal with a northern scenario. I hope we will not reach this situation, but we are prepared for the matter.”
