Disaster in Mexico: dead and dozens missing in a church roof collapse

Dozens are trapped inside a church in northern Mexico, after the roof of the building collapsed during prayer. The local rescue forces have already rescued dozens of victims from under the rubble

Tragedy in northern Mexico, after the collapse of the roof of a local church in the city of Ciudad Madero in the state of Tamaulipas, during Sunday prayer.

Dozens of rescuers have been working since the disaster to rescue the dozens of victims, while, it is assumed that there are many more trapped under the rubble.

According to reports, at least 100 people were inside the church during prayer. At least nine people were killed, over 50 worshipers have already been evacuated injured and dozens more are missing under the rubble of the roof.
