During Shabbat: Attempted Ramming Attack Near Eli

A 42-year-old Palestinian collided with his vehicle into a police patrol car that was engaged in operational activities near the settlement of Eli in Samaria.

After investigation at the scene, it was determined that this was an attempted attack. The assailant was apprehended and transferred for further investigation.

During the morning hours (Shabbat), a Palestinian vehicle crashed into a police patrol car that was involved in operational activities near the settlement of Eli in Samaria. Following an investigation at the scene, it was confirmed that this was an attempted attack. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The suspected driver, a 42-year-old Palestinian, was arrested by the police and transferred to the security forces for investigation.

According to the IDF spokesperson, "A report was received about an attempted ramming attack at the gas station in Eli in the Benjamin Brigade area, during which a Palestinian vehicle accelerated towards a police patrol car and collided with it. There were no injuries. The attacker was apprehended by IDF forces and transferred for further investigation by the security forces."
