On Smotrich and Ben Gvir's watch: the destruction in Binyamin continues

The destruction campaign by the security forces in the hills around Binyamin continues. Many police forces raided Giva't Or Meir near Ofra and began demolishing the buildings there. Ministers Smotrich and Ben-Gvir have yet to comment on the evacuation

(The destruction this morning)

After the security forces raided the Sde Yonatan hill in Binyamin this morning (Wednesday) and destroyed it, police forces continue to destroy the hills in Binyamin. The forces arrived at Giva't Or Meir, near the settlement of Ofra, and began demolishing the buildings on the hill.

This is another hill that was also established about six months ago, and according to sources in the hills, it seems that the purpose of the forces is to "align the line" and make sure that all the new points that were established in the last year are evacuated.

Injured on the spot

Similar to the evacuation in Sde Yonatan, the settlers once again claimed that the police acted with severe violence. One resident was arrested, and another was severely beaten until his hand was broken. The injured was treated in the field by medics of the Rescue Union and was taken to the hospital.

hills are evacuated and police use violence: Smotrich and Ben Gvir did not comment

As mentioned earlier, dozens of police officers and civil administration inspectors arrived at Givat Sde Yonatan, which is adjacent to the settlement of Michmash, and began destroying the buildings on the hill. During the evacuation, dozens of residents from the localities of the area came to the scene to protest against the destruction, as they claimed severe police violence was recorded at the scene. Among other things, the settlers claimed that a boy from one of the settlements in the area was severely beaten, handcuffed, and arrested while crying out in pain.

It should be noted that as of this time, the chairman of Religious Zionism and the minister from the security ministry, Bezalel Smotrich, under whose responsibility the civil administration that carries out the evacuation, has not yet commented on the evacuation. The chairman of Otzma Yehudit and the minister of national security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, have also not yet expressed a reference to the destruction in the hills.
