The Central Bureau of Statistics informs: the lowest unemployment rate since 2012

The Central Bureau of Statistics published the monthly report on employment data in the country, and announced that unemployment has reached its lowest level since 2012.

The Central Bureau of Statistics published the monthly summary of employment data and announced that the unemployment figures in Israel fell to only 3.1 percent in August, the lowest unemployment rate in Israel in over a decade.

The Central Bureau of Statistics announced that there was a decrease in the unemployment rate between the month of July, during which 3.4 percent unemployment was measured and now the unemployment rate stands at 3.1 percent, the lowest figure since 2012.

In addition, the Central Bureau of Statistics announced that although the unemployment rate decreased, the percentage of participants in the labor force stood at 63.9%, approximately 4.5 million employed in the market, which indicates a higher exploitation of the labor market compared to previous months.
