Due to security activity, roads will be closed in the Negev

Following security activity in the south, the eastern and western Ramon craters will be closed to traffic today (Monday - Israel) at 4:00 p.m. In addition, traffic will not be allowed on Road 40 from Mitzpe Ramon starting tomorrow at 5:00 for four hours

The IDF announced today (Monday) that due to the activities of the security establishment, changes will be made to the closing dates of areas in the south of the country.

According to the army's statement: "In light of a change in the security system's operating hours that was planned yesterday (Sunday), the eastern and western Ramon craters will be closed to traffic starting today (Monday) at 4:00 p.m. until tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11:00 a.m. In addition, a section of Road 40 from Mitzpe Ramon to the Tzihor junction will be closed to traffic tomorrow (Tuesday) between 11:00 and 5:00 for four hours.
