Netanyahu spoke with the President of Ukraine Zelenskyy: "The Israeli aid will continue"

Just before the holidays and the arrival of worshipers to Uman, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke for the first time with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy: "They talked about the continuation of Israeli aid"

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's office updates that tonight (Thursday - Israel) there was a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the first conversation between them since Netanyahu's government was sworn in at the end of December 2022.

According to the language of the announcement: "The two leaders talked about the continuation of Israeli aid to Ukraine, including to refugees from Ukraine staying in Israel, and also, about the continuation of promoting aid in the development and promotion of civil defense systems."

"The Prime Minister also raised the need to ensure as much as possible the arrival of worshipers to Uman this year in order to ensure freedom of worship."

Immediately after the conversation, the Minister of Jerusalem and Tradition Meir Porush, who is in charge of coordinating the arrival of worshipers to Uman for the holidays, responded: "I thank the Prime Minister for responding to my requests and speaking with the President of Ukraine."

I congratulate the Prime Minister for joining the effort to help arrange the travel of tens of thousands to Uman for Rosh Hashanah prayers, which, with God's help, will prevent a monetary crisis within the borders of Ukraine. Thanks to the joint activity with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Eli Cohen, we hope That we will be able to make the transition easy through Moldova, Poland, and Hungary, with whom we have reached arrangements in border operations."
