Oh how the tables have turned

Sa'ar a year and a half ago: "Gallant's dismissal – an act of madness"

Knesset member Gideon Sa'ar is expected to be appointed as Foreign Minister, following the dismissal of Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. We remembered what Saar said the last time Netanyahu fired Gallant.

Chairman of the National Religious Party, Knesset member Gideon Sa'ar, is expected to be appointed as Foreign Minister in place of Israel Katz, who was appointed as Minister of Defense instead of Yoav Galant, who was dismissed by Netanyahu. The move was coordinated with Gideon Sa'ar, who, as mentioned, will enter the government and be appointed a senior minister. Tonight, it is particularly interesting to recall what Saar thought about Galant's dismissal, which was cancelled following significant protests.

A year and a half ago, during the first 'Galant Night,' Saar wrote: "Netanyahu's decision to fire Defense Minister Yoav Galant is an act of madness, indicating a complete lack of judgment." There is no precedent in the history of Israel for a Defense Minister being dismissed for warning, as required by his position, about a security threat. Netanyahu is determined to plunge Israel into the abyss. Every day that Netanyahu serves in his position endangers Israel and its future.
