Three Palestinians were apprehended last night (between Sunday and Monday) in Judea and Samaria while attempting to cross the security fence and infiltrate into Israeli territory in the Jerusalem Envelope area.

According to the statement from security forces, IDF surveillance units identified several suspects attempting to cross the security fence from the areas of Judea and Samaria towards Jerusalem. Upon receiving the report, Border Police forces were dispatched to the location, and after a pursuit, the three suspects were apprehended without valid permits to be in Israel. Additionally, in the possession of one of the Palestinians, a 32-year-old resident of Bethlehem, a kitchen knife was found. He was arrested and transferred for further investigation.

Yesterday, in the early afternoon hours (Sunday), IDF forces entered the village of Aqraba in Samaria and apprehended the father and brother of the terrorist who carried out the attack in Hawara a week ago, in which Shai and Aviad Nigarkar were murdered.

The terrorist himself – Osama Bni Fathel – has not yet been caught. However, in the meantime, security forces are attempting to apply pressure on him through messages conveyed by family members, arrests of his associates, and mapping of his residence in preparation for demolition.
