IDF arrests two Palestinians following terror attack

Terrorists from last night's ramming attack have been caught

Two Palestinian suspects were apprehended by IDF forces after being suspected of carrying out a car-ramming attack on two Israeli soldiers in the Al-Khader area, near Bethlehem, on Monday evening. The soldiers sustained light and moderate injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.

According to an IDF spokesperson, the attack occurred during a military operation in the Etzion Brigade area. The suspects reportedly drove their vehicle into the soldiers and then fled the scene. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.

Following the attack, IDF forces, in coordination with the Israel Police and Shin Bet, launched an intelligence-guided manhunt. The suspects eventually surrendered to security forces during the operation, and both were arrested. They have since been transferred to Shin Bet for further questioning.

The IDF confirmed that two soldiers were injured—one lightly and the other moderately—and that their families had been informed. The military also noted that the details of the incident are still being reviewed.

This marks the latest in a series of ramming attacks in the region, with security forces continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack.
