The IDF and the police confirmed today (Thursday) that SWAT fighters, under the direction of the Shin Bet, eliminated the head of a terrorist infrastructure in Tulkarem and another wanted man who were involved in carrying out attacks and planning additional terrorist activity.

Yesterday, SWAT forces, the Haruv Patrol and the ISA operated in the village of Danaba, near Tulkarem in the Menashe Brigade, to arrest wanted terrorists.

During the activity to arrest the terrorists, one of the wanted men began an attempt to flee while armed with a firearm along with another wanted terrorist. SWAT fighters opened fire at them, eliminated them on the spot and neutralized another terrorist in the area.

Two terrorists were eliminated, including a terrorist who headed one of Tulkarem's terrorist infrastructures and was recently involved in carrying out attacks and recruiting additional operatives for terrorist activity, along with another operative in the terrorist infrastructure. There were no casualties to our forces in the operation.
