Revealed, the rocket was a direct hit and was not intercepted

Tel Aviv District Commander: The fall in Ramat Gan was a direct hit by a missile

Contrary to initial assessments, the fall in Ramat Gan was the result of a heavy missile, not debris from an interception. The Tel Aviv District Commander in the police stated: "The damage seen on the upper structure is the engine part, the ground impact ignites a power pole - and that is the fire seen."

The Tel Aviv District Police Commander, Chaim Sargrof, arrived shortly (Monday) at the site of the fall in Ramat Gan and stated that contrary to the initial assessments of the IDF, it was not the fall of interception debris – but rather a direct hit by a missile. "It is not about an interceptor or anything of the sort, but rather a direct hit by a heavy missile."

Sergroff added that "the impact seen on the upper structure is the engine part." The impact on the ground ignites a power pole, and that's the fire you see. He also said: "We ask that you do not come to the site and leave the area clear." There are heavy windows here at risk of falling. Each such window weighs dozens of kilograms, and if it falls, it can kill a person or cause serious injury. "You must follow the Home Front Command's instructions."

As can be seen in the photos and recordings from the scene, the fall also affected the Besser Tower and other buildings in the area, resulting in many windows loosening and some even shattering. The police issued a statement shortly after the fall, requesting that people do not approach the area. "We ask the public to stay away from the crash sites and to follow the instructions of the police on the ground."

"The Israel Police request that all residents avoid congregating in the areas of the fall to prevent risk to life and unnecessary bodily harm, and to ensure that the work of the bomb disposal experts and police at the scene is not disrupted."
