Humanitarian efforts expand as thousands flee North Gaza

Northern Gaza Evacuations: Amid the IDF's ongoing mission, this is how many civilians remain

On the way to voluntary evacuation? The IDF is intensifying the fighting in the northern Gaza Strip, and according to reports, this is the number of Gazans who remain in the northern strip after most of them left or were captured by Israel.

About 4,000 Gazans evacuated in the last 24 hours from the area of 'Mishra' al-Bayt Lahia' and were transported by IDF evacuation routes south to the area of Gaza City. About 3,000 of them were evacuated yesterday and another 1,000 today. Among them, the IDF and the Shin Bet captured dozens of terrorists and transferred them for interrogation, as reported by Doron Kadosh.

It was also reported that according to IDF estimates, in the northern Gaza Strip (north of the Beit Hanoun axis of Division 162 – Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, Jabalia, Al-Atatra) – only a few thousand Gazans remain.

A few days ago, we reported that in light of the U.S. government's demand to increase humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip, the IDF announced the expansion of the humanitarian area in the Strip.

The expanded humanitarian area includes field hospitals established since the outbreak of the war, tent complexes, shelter equipment, and supplies of food, water, medicine, and medical equipment that were coordinated with the international community through the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT).

In the IDF, they reiterate that they will continue to act to achieve the war's objectives, including dismantling Hamas and returning all the hostages.

As a reminder, in recent weeks, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin sent a letter to Ministers Dermer and Gallant, stating that if Israel does not resolve the humanitarian crisis within a month, a weapons embargo will be imposed on Israel.
